A fantastic opportunity has come up for Red Squirrel Campsite guests - OR Non residents.
Sea kayaking with Alexander Adventures in May 2026
Here's a couple of photos of one of the trips. It looks amazing!
Minimum 4 in a group to Max of 12. (12+)

Alexander Adventures will also be offering Canyoneering - which will be local to us and great for families with older children (12+)

We are back into the full swing of camping season! YAY.. With the weekend a bit wet and cold, we managed to dodge Storm Dave - Thankfully, looks like the weather is turning and will be nicer as the weeks go on,dont quote me on that!
Campsite news is that The Dave's are staying on this season along with Kazz and Neil who joined us late last year. Our new team member Dan is trained up and ready to welcome you all back to The Red Squirrel.
In other news, we have been approached by to offer campers opportunities to join in on their adventures. Canyoning and sea kayaking for all ages.
These can be booked through us or through there website. I will add more details shortly.

Last but not least - we have not put our prices up this year. With recent price hikes around the Uk, we have decided that we'd rather people still come camping and enjoy the outdoors and Glencoe, Oh and 2 red squirrels have been spotted on the campsite!!! 😁

We have made the decision to close for a much needed rest over Christmas. The year 2025 has been a brilliant season however with our sons accident in July we need to regroup and spend time with everyone. We will be open on the 27th onwards. Looking forward to 2026 with hot summer days and I’ve been told by Santa No midge 🥴🤣
Thank you to all of our guests from around the world who stayed with us in 2025.
Also- A HUGE THANK YOU to our amazing team this year. Held the fort while we had to be away. Ran like clock work. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
