There is access to a large lockable shed - perfect for guests to store bikes or golf clubs etc. There is off-street parking directly outside the cottage. Ballater has many shops, cafes, restaurants and galleries to enjoy, most notably the recently refurbished Old Royal Station minutes from the cottage. From the cottage there are many walks to explore - from the paths along the river, the recently opened Seven Bridges Walk and of course Craigendarroch Hill with it's spectacular views of Ballater and Lochnagar. Ballater is just 7km from Balmoral Castle and Estate, the Royal Family's Scottish holiday home since 1852.
