Thistles, heather and blaeberries are all out on Craigendarroch at the moment.

The Craigendarroch summit and circular walks are within easy walking distance of No. 45 and can be completed in about an hour. If you’re lucky you may spot some deer or red squirrels too! 🔍🌳

Gooseberry season has begun! 🌿🫙

With a little help from some enthusiastic pickers, we’ve started harvesting the first gooseberries from the garden. Hopefully they’ll soon be homemade gooseberry jam for our guests to enjoy at breakfast.

One of our favourite parts of summer is serving something that’s grown just a few steps from the breakfast table. 💚
