My daughter and grandson whose learning to drive were up the Auchencarroch Road and stopped to take some beautiful pictures of the Ben and the coos. Thought I would share. Remember thinking of coming to Balloch and The Old Smiddy book direct through webpage or email.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.
New for 2025 in the Old Smiddy Apartment a new Wren kitchen with integrated fridge freezer, washer dryer and kitchen equipment. We have had a great year in 2024 getting both the cottage and apartment licensed and new bedrooms fully kitted out in Apartment hope you all like them. After all the alterations etc we have now been able to make the king-size bedroom into a family room with a new single bed both top of the range beds from Staples at Bensons. So we now sleep 3 people. Look forward to welcoming my guests to these lovely rooms, Fiona

WHOHOO we have now been issued with our Short Term Licence from West Dunbartonshire Council for The Cottage and Apartment there has been a lot of work involved but we are now sorted and so relieved. Looking forward to meeting our many guests in the near future. Fiona and David
