🥳We’re excited to announce that Rathlin Hostel is now Kelp Shore House! We are now operating as a large, spacious, and comfortable holiday home, available to book for groups up to 20–25 people.🥳

We've been busy getting ready for a new season and this year will see some changes.

Since covid we've moved away from being a hostel to a large self-catering holiday home suitable for families and groups.

One of Northern Ireland’s most iconic accommodation venues will reopen for 2023 under new, local management.

The Manor House on Rathlin Island, originally the home of the island’s landlord, will be operated by Rathlin residents the Cecil family. Michael Cecil is well known as skipper of one of the island ferries, and his wife Shauna and daughter Shannon have recently run a successful catering business, the Hungry Seal

This year we will not open the hostel as a normal hostel, it only will be private house booking. Here is the rate for booking the whole hostel. Weekends are 2 night min stay (Friday - Sunday)
