What a fantastic day at the Ballymena Show on Saturday! 🐄🚜👨‍🌾☔

As part of our 180th anniversary celebrations, we were proud to sponsor this year's Ballymena Show and support an event that brings together so much of our local community.

Despite the weather, spirits were high as our team enjoyed meeting visitors, exhibitors, and familiar faces throughout the day. It was a pleasure to catch up with the Mayor of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council and The Foodie Fisherman as well as so many members of the local community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello. We're proud to support events that celebrate the people, businesses, and organisations that make Ballymena such a special place.

As our McKeever Memories campaign comes to an end, we just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to share their stories with us. 💛

From weddings and anniversaries, to family traditions, festive stays, charity events and special celebrations, every memory reminded us what McKeever Hotels is really all about - bringing people together and creating memories that last a lifetime.

We’ve loved reading every single story and looking back through all of your amazing photos.

The future of hospitality is looking bright

We were delighted to welcome pupils from St Colmcille’s to the Adair Arms Hotel as part of a fantastic hospitality project organised through Mid and East Antrim Borough Council.

Over a series of school visits, pupils got the chance to learn more about the world of hospitality through interactive activities including mocktail creation, menu challenges, word searches and budgeting exercises - deciding how they would spend £100 from our menu 🍽️🍹

The students then visited the hotel for a behind-the-scenes experience, enjoying a full tour of our conference rooms, bedrooms and kitchen before getting hands-on making their own mocktails with the team.

We also welcomed post-primary students who explored the exciting world of event planning through school workshops and a hotel visit.

It was brilliant to see so much creativity, confidence and enthusiasm from everyone involved, and we’re proud to help inspire the next generation of hospitality professionals. 👏

❤️ Our Final McKeever Memory Winner – Ashley Kidd ❤️

For Ashley and her family, Christmas Eve at Corr’s Corner Hotel has been a tradition spanning generations, and one filled with pure Christmas magic. 🎄🎅🏻🎁

“Our tradition started decades ago when my brother and I were just children. I can still vividly remember the unreal excitement we felt pulling into the car park each Christmas Eve. One year, we were so caught up in the magic that we were convinced we saw Santa himself flying past the restaurant window!

Fast forward to today, and while we’ve all grown up, the tradition hasn’t changed. My brother and I now bring our own children, from our 20-year-old eldest to our 9-year-old youngest, and seeing that same excitement in their eyes every Christmas Eve is so special.

There are so many reasons we keep coming back year after year. The atmosphere is magical from the moment you walk through the doors, the food is everything a traditional Christmas dinner should be, and the staff are what truly make Corr’s Corner so special. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and brilliant with the kids - they always make us feel like VIPs.

While we visit throughout the year, Christmas Eve at Corr’s Corner is the one day we look forward to more than any other. Thank you for being such a huge part of our family’s story and for helping keep the magic alive for the next generation.”
