We had a day trip today, started in Carnlough with Breakfast, not whiskey it’s not my tipple but they do have a new gift shop with hundreds of whiskeys if you like that sort of thing. We then went to Glenarm, the TV cameras were there so we didn’t stop, we went on around coast through Ballygally, Larne to Portmuck. Two swimmers were in the sea, it was warm despite the grey skies, getting peckish again we went to The Greedy Gannet which is at The Gobbins visitor centre. The centre is open but the walk is closed due to rock fall, expected to open in October. Our lunch was lovely in the large cafe, they do breakfast as well and great service we will be back. Whilst they had lovely traybakes we decided to walk from Gobbins car park to Rinkha which is just down the road and is an award winning ice cream shop and well deserved. We had a walk through Larne on way back home for our tea.
