Hello everybody. How are we all? Well Christmas and New Year is done for another season, the holiday houses are booked up for February and spring will soon be here, hopefully. The snowdrops are out and the daffodils are peeking through the ground. We have some availibilty left in both cottages in March so send me a message for rates .
For those who have recently stayed, please leave us a review, good or bad, we would like to know either way. If we don't know there is a problem, we won't always know it needs fixing.
So last week of January, here we go!!

Hello. We are fully booked for christmas and new year and what a year it has been. Lots of changes in the second half of the year so apologies for the quietness, it has been a difficult time but life goes on and changes are afoot.
We still have lots of summer availibilty, september is pretty much sold out but i will be back on it in the new year with availibilty dates.
We want to wish all of our guests past, present and future a very Happy Christmas and Happy New Year.

Hello everybody. Sorry I've been quiet on the social media, this summer has been mental with bookings and mowing and life in general. But I'm here with an update, we still have some availability to finish us off for 2025, I will get those posted this evening. Christmas is booked up already for this year and for 2026 which is great.
I can't believe we are in October!
Yesterday was a gorgeous day in the gardens and mowing the acre at the back of the houses. See pic.... Just beautiful.

It has been a scorcher hasn't it. What a month June has been, very little rain still. But its still looking good. The clover is coming out in the grass and the recent hot weather has made the grass slow down in growing which is a slight godsend as I still don't have my ride on mower back yet.
Its certainly kept me busy the last 7 weeks, I've either been cleaning or mowing. It's kept me out of trouble. We are very nearly booked up now for July and August and we are getting bookings in for next year already so thats great.
Will post July openings available in the Hayloft tomorrow but The Stalls with exclusive access to the hot tub is now fully booked until September.

Another Friday and the end of May is looming.
The farm ride on mower broke a couple of weeks ago so I had to dig out the trusty 18 year old push Honda this week.
Never did I realise mowing the grass around the holiday properties would take 29,000 steps and 14 miles of walking . It was certainly a long day mid week but it looks so good.
We still have some availability for the summer in The Hayloft and I will post those up next week. For now I'm going to have a nice rest.

The Hayloft is back on the books!!
Here's a few pics after a 15 hour deep clean that was done over the bank holiday weekend. I will post availability and prices later this week, but if you'd like more info then comment below and I will get in touch.
Ideal for contractors in the area or if you need somewhere for a few weeks whilst you have work done on your house.

What a scorcher of a week, it's cooling down tomorrow for a few days but the sun will carry on shining.
The holiday houses are busy although there is availability for June, get in quick for The Stalls though as it won't be available again until Monday 22nd September, we are fully booked Friday to Friday all summer.
The Hayloft has some availability coming up but will do a separate post for that in a few days time along with new photos.

We have had our first drop of rain this weekend since the beginning of March, it's been a beautiful spring, if not a bit chilly, the easterly wind that always seems to grace us when the blackthorn comes out, coincidence, who knows but we call it the blackthorn winter here on the farm.

Another beautiful Friday on the farm. We have been so lucky with the weather the past month, stunning, the oil seed r**e flower is out and giving the farm a gorgeous yellow glow. Here's this morning sunrise and afternoon sunshine by the hot tub.
