Mornings like this remind us just how lucky we are to call this wonderful spot by the River Dee home - and even luckier that we get to share it with you. .Whether you’re staying with us, joining us for something delicious, celebrating a special occasion or simply popping by, this beautiful setting is always part of the experience. Days Like This at The Lodge…
We were treated to the most beautiful autumn day at The Lodge today – blue skies, warm sunshine and Royal Deeside looking absolutely glorious. The leaves are turning shades of gold, russet and green, while the Virginia creeper has transformed into the most gorgeous deep red. On days like this, the hard part isn’t coming to work… it’s going home! No wonder our guests were smiling. And the best bit? They get to wake up tomorrow, watch the sun rise over the River Dee and enjoy those beautiful autumn views all over again over breakfast. Sometimes it’s the simplest moments that make a stay feel really special.

Bonfire Night Starts at The Lodge!
There’s something special about Bonfire Night in Banchory – and this year it promises to be more spectacular than ever! Banchory Bonfire & Fireworks returns on Saturday 7th November, with a fantastic evening of fire and pyrotechnics, as well as a beautiful community lantern parade. So why not make a night of it and start the celebrations at The Lodge? We’re serving a special two-course Bonfire Night Supper from 4pm–5.30pm – plenty of time to get cosy, enjoy some delicious food and then head along to the park for the fireworks. And for those lucky enough to be staying with us, simply settle into the Sitooterie and watch the fireworks light up the Banchory sky. Now that sounds like a Bonfire Night to remember!
