Looking for something to do this upcoming Easter Sunday?

Our first trains of the 2026 railway season begin this coming Easter Sunday (5th April), and after a winter of getting the railway line tidied up behind the scenes, we’re really looking forward to welcoming people back to the Royal Deeside Railway again.

🚂 Trains running 11am – 4pm, hauled by our steam engine Bon Accord
🐣 FREE Easter eggs for all children

Alongside the railway, there will also be a
Milton of Crathes Easter Market on both Saturday and Sunday, with an Easter trail, local produce and locally made crafts.

There will be plenty for families to come see and do beyond just a train ride.

It’s a good chance to come down, have a wander and make a family day of it.

It’s a beautiful day here in Banchory. Enjoy a bite to eat at The Pancake Place followed by a stroll around our local area. We still have pitches available for tonight if you want to join us, and plenty of gas if you are planning a BBQ 🚐🚎☀️

Please be advised that there will be a road closure restriction in place on the c36k, Banchory commencing on 30/03 for 5 days. The restriction is in place to allow for safe access for bridge repairs to be carried out at the Bridge of Feugh.
