Mae Quique Escamilla, enillydd gwobr JUNO, yn ganwr-gyfansoddwr o dras Mayaidd-Zapotecaidd a aned a fagwyd yn Chiapas, Mecsico; bellach mae’n artist a chynhyrchydd sy’n teithio’n rhyngwladol ac wedi’i leoli yn Toronto, Canada. Trwy ei lais pwerus a’i berfformiad angerddol, mae Quique yn pontio diwylliannau ac ieithoedd drwy gyfuno rhythmau traddodiadol Mecsicanaidd a Lladin-Americanaidd—gan gynnwys ranchera, huapango, a cumbia, ag elfennau cyfoes o roc, reggae a blues.

JUNO Award-winning Quique Escamilla is a Mayan-Zapotec singer-songwriter born and raised in Chiapas, Mexico, and now an internationally touring artist and producer based in Toronto, Canada.Through his powerful voice and passionate delivery, Quique bridges cultures and languages by fusing traditional Mexican and Latin American rhythms—including ranchera, huapango, and cumbia—with contemporary elements of rock, reggae, and blues.
