An essential part of the festive season here at The George is to celebrate through music!

This year, our Christmas Carols are taking place this Wednesday 20th at 7pm approx.

The more the merrier so please join us for one of our last Christmas celebrations of 2023!

That time is nearly here! 🚜🎄

This Saturday, as every year, we will have through Barford the RC Baker Christmas Tractor Run!

This year, they will be supporting the Katharine House Hospice! All the money raised will go towards helping them provide the invaluable services within our local community.

From here, at the Barfords, we will be able to see them drive past at 20.25 ! (approx)

Through the whole period of christmas we will have on the side of the bar a Lawnrence Home Nursing Team Charity box, where you can give your donations, plus on our side we offer you guys a bottle of Sloe Gin/Pack of festive jams+jellies free to take (you can give any donation that you found adequate for it!).

The Lawrence Home Nursing team works to provide end of life care to people in their own homes. They work closely with patient’s GP and community nurse to arrange the care and support that is right for them and their family. The nurses team provide reassurance and comfort so patients and their loved ones can make the most of the time they have left together.

You are more than welcome to come by, and use it as a tribute to a loved one, and to say “thank you” to all the wonderful people such as the Lawrence Home Nursing team.

We continue to work hard to ensure we always have an open door and plenty reasons to visit for all 🌼

From our monthly pub quiz and Supper Club, to our evening a la carte dining, alfresco snacking and soirees in the garden. We are also super child and dog friendly! We cater for all private events and you can even request one of our chefs to cook up a storm in your own kitchen!
