Most people think the Lamb Cuddle Experience is for the kids.

It’s not.

The kids pat them once, spot the tractor and they’re gone. The parents are still in the barn twenty minutes later trying to work out if a Valais Blacknose lamb fits in a Ford Focus with a tent and three kids.

He doesn’t. But you can come back.

Day visits open this summer at Riverside Valley. Lamb cuddles, a play area, a river to paddle in and a free ice cream for every child when you visit. More things to do with kids in Derbyshire 💕❤️

This weekend we opened the Lamb Cuddle Experience at Riverside Valley and we are not over it.

Valais Blacknose lambs. Small groups. A proper working farm in Derbyshire. And absolutely zero chance you leave without smiling.

So many brilliant suggestions came in and the kids loved going through them all. But there can only be one winner, and that is Wendy Claire, who nailed it with both names.
