High Force Hotel and Waterfall A woodland walk to one of the biggest waterfalls in the UK adjacent to a country hotel serving delicious food sourced or inspired from the Estate 🌿 Durham.

High Force Waterfall:
Discover the force of nature at High Force, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in England, located at Forest-in-Teesdale, Co. Raby Castle is situated 20 miles further east at Staindrop. The Experience:
From its rise as a trickle, high on the heather covered fells at the top of the North Pennines, to the top of the whin sill rock at Forest -in-Teesdale, the River Tees steadily grows and gathers pace, then it suddenly and spectacularly drops 21 metres into the plunge pool below. The Woodland Walk:
The pretty woodland walk is approximately 1/3 of a mile, with several resting points along the way. It is a gently sloping gravel path. Facilities:

We're excited to be recruiting for two new roles at High Force Hotel: Chef/Breakfast Chef and Kitchen Assistant🍴

🧑‍🍳Chef/ Breakfast Chef: This role includes defined responsibility for two key service areas:
Breakfast Service: Ensuring efficient preparation, timely service, and consistent standards
Sunday Lunch: Delivering one of the hotel’s most popular established services, maintaining the existing concept, quality and reputation.

🫧Kitchen Assistant: This role includes day-to-day cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment: supporting hygiene compliance through cleaning and safe working practices, and assisting chefs with preparation and operational tasks.

These roles are fast-paced positions within a dedicated and hardworking team, set against the stunning backdrop of the stunning Durham Dales. As part of Raby Estates, High Force Hotel is renowned for serving traditional English dishes in a unique heritage setting🍃
