A Two-Day Stay in Barnard Castle

Stay and enjoy the character, history, and natural beauty of this charming Teesdale town.

Day 1 Morning

• Coffee & Breakfast at Moments Café
• Explore Barnard Castle – the historic castle ruins with stunning views of the River Tees
• Browse independent shops along The Bank and Horsemarket

Afternoon
• Lunch at The Artisan Corner or many other independent cafes in town.
• Visit the The Bowes Museum – a French-style chateau housing fine art, fashion, and the famous Silver Swan
• Optional: Walk through Flatts Wood or along the riverside path

Evening
• Dinner at The Three Horseshoes Hotel or Bengal Merchant
• Wind down at your Georgian apartment with a glass of wine and local treats

Day 2:
