Front of House Supervisor
The Three Horseshoes Hotel, Barnard Castle

The Three Horseshoes Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and punctual individual to join our front of house team.

This is a hands-on supervisory role covering both our bar and restaurant operations. Previous experience in a similar hospitality environment would be beneficial, and previous supervisory experience would be advantageous, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Hours: Approximately 35 hours per week (more hours may be available for the right candidate)
Pay: £12.71 - £14.00 per hour, depending on experience

Shifts will include a mixture of mornings, evenings and weekends.

Main Responsibilities
Providing excellent customer service in the bar and restaurant
Taking food and drink orders
Taking accommodation and restaurant bookings
Assisting with staff training and induction
Handling customer queries and complaints
Supervising staff and supporting daily operations
Cash handling and end-of-day banking procedures
Opening and closing the business when required

What We're Looking For
Friendly and professional manner
Reliable and flexible approach to work
Willingness to work mornings, evenings and weekends

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Chef to join our busy kitchen team of five at The Three Horseshoes Hotel. We serve modern dishes with classical influences, all prepared using fresh, locally sourced produce.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with solid experience in a professional kitchen who enjoys working across different sections and delivering consistent, high-quality food. You'll be involved in breakfast, lunch and evening service, working closely with the Head Chef and supporting the overall smooth running of the kitchen.
