Craven View Shepherds Huts John & Alison have two luxury, dog-friendly shepherd's huts - The Herdsman and The Journeyman are situated above the town of Barnoldswick.

They each have - underfloor heating, ensuite shower room & an outdoor shelter with BBQ & garden stove.

John's been busy baling hay and making the most of the sunshine while it lasts. Everything seemed perfectly normal until he turned up wearing that hat... 🤠😂

🌸🌿 Summer is starting to bloom around the huts! 🌿🌸

The wildflowers and cottage garden favourites are putting on a lovely display, adding even more colour to the views our guests wake up to each morning. 🌼

We've also popped a freshly picked vase of flowers under the shelter, ready to welcome today's guests. It's the little touches that help make a stay at The Herdsman and The Journeyman feel extra special. 💐

We hope our guests enjoy a relaxing break, taking in the flowers, the countryside views, and a little peace and quiet above the hills. ❤️

We're always incredibly grateful when guests take the time to leave us such wonderful feedback. 🌼 Knowing they've enjoyed their stay and left feeling relaxed and refreshed means the world to us.

And while we're sharing good news, here's a little sneaky peek of our newest hut, The Drover, now in its final position. There's still plenty to do, but it's starting to come together. We look forward to sharing more updates with you over the coming weeks. 🌞

Taking twice as long to service The Journeyman today after our Bank Holiday guests… I keep stopping to take in that view — it really is something special. We know how lucky we are.

The next stage is underway! 🚜

With the ground finally dry enough, John has pulled our new hut into place today – a big moment for us. The groundwork is done and the patio is already laid, just needing a final level tomorrow.

Next up, we’ll be reinstating the walls and putting the fences back up to bring everything together.

We’re also excited to share the name of our newest addition… The Drover. 🐑

It’s all starting to feel very real now!

Our orphaned lamb George has had a bit of a tough morning and has unfortunately lost his voice — not that it’s slowing him down much! Still full of character as ever, just a little quieter than usual 🥺

We’ll be keeping a close eye on him and giving him lots of extra TLC today.
