It's sad but funny to see a group of people stood on the bridge watching the Black Bull being pulled down. Where were they 2 years ago when I was asking for help to keep the pub open to stop Enterprise closing a pub that was still breaking even and paying all its bills even though the rent and Barrel costs were over inflated. The main reasons this pub is closed is because of flooding due to the drains being blocked on the road side and even though I went to the club at Ardsley to speak to the local councillors they did nothing. The drains were eventually unblocked but the damage had already been done to the flooring. The second time the pub got flooded was due to the drain at the front of the pub collapsing after many arguments Enterprise replace the carpets and the floor area in the games room one month later they asked me to leave because they were having to spend money repairing the pub that was over budget. The only reason they had to spend this money because it took them 2 years to repair the drain. And only two years later this group what's to start doing something about it get a life move on it's too late you had your chance.

It is with great Sadness but I have been told that later this year the Black Bull will be demolished due to the amount of damage inside. it is a great shame that Enterprise Inns and the our local council did nothing to keep one of the last historic buildings in our area.

Not sure if this info is true. Been told the windows will be bricked up at weekend before been pulled down later in month. Sad news
