A still winter's night at the Wood Stack🌙. We enjoy minimal light pollution and super dark skies here in North Devon. If you come and stay, and can pull yourself away from the log burner, pop outside on a clear night and just check out those stars! ✨

A bit of autumnal drizzle about today, but still time to take a few moments up on the hill to enjoy the valley views. The next couple of months will be stunning as the leaves turn🍁🍂🍃. Hot chocolate and wood burner at the ready here at The Wood Stack ♨️☕!

More amazing feedback from our lovely guests! The sun might be taking its annual summer holiday at the moment but our little holiday let seems to tick plenty of boxes come rain or shine. 🌦️🌤️☀️

Best time to hit the award winning Woolacombe beach...? Late afternoon and the crowds are very much thinning. Go a bit later and you've basically got a two mile stretch of west facing beach to yourself where you can sit and watch the sun sink into the sea.

A very, very easy 15 minute drive from The Wood Stack and you are there😎.

Our lovely local, The Muddiford Inn, is just a 5 minute hop, step and a jump away from The Wood Stack.

A warm welcome, good food and a lovely beer garden awaits via a public footpath that winds its way through stunning countryside. Its an easy stroll there, often a little harder on the way back!

🎄🎄🎄Late availability for a Christmas west country getaway! 🎄🎄🎄Due to a late cancellation The Wood Stack is available 22-29 Dec. We can take bookings from tier 1 & 2 residents for these dates, or 23-27 Dec for anyone living in tier 3.

The property is warm, cosy, well equipped and will have some seasonal touches added! It's fully self enclosed with a private entrance, garden and parking. Stunning coastline and Exmoor and country pub on the doorstep.
