☀️ With a sunny bank holiday weekend ahead and Whitsun half term just around the corner, we’re looking forward to welcoming lots of guests across our coastal holiday parks.
If you’re planning time at the beach during your stay, please help us keep everyone safe by following a few simple steps:
🏖️ Choose a lifeguarded beach where possible
🌊 Swim between the red and yellow flags
🏄 If you’re new to surfing, stay between the black and white flags
🛟 Speak to RNLI lifeguards when you arrive - they’ll help you understand the conditions and choose the safest place to enjoy the water.
The RNLI lifeguard teams work incredibly hard to keep our beaches safe, especially during busy holiday periods, and their advice can make all the difference.
We’d also encourage everyone to remember Float to Live - a simple technique that could save your life if you get into difficulty in the water:
• Tilt your head back with ears submerged
• Relax and try to control your breathing
• Use your hands to help you stay afloat
• Don’t worry if your legs sink - we all float differently
