The guesthouse is now permanently closed if you wish to keep in contact with us please use my page Jackie Williams. We have decided that we need to give ourselves some "us" time and try and do all the things we have missed out on. Family and friends are always welcome and as most of our guests have been friends and family please use my page to keep in touch.

Tony will be 80 in a couple of weeks but the big party has had to be postponed but with any luck we will be able to have a get together with some of the family over the weekend and wait for better times for the full blown affair.

Rain at last, didn't think I would say this after all the rain during the winter and a little cooler thank goodness I'm not keen on to much heat. Garden still needs work but we do have some lovely roses and a clematis that has gone walk about over some trees and a lot of greenery.

Hello to everyone who likes my page I am not very good at posting on my page but it is lovely to hear from you when I do open my laptop. I keep saying this but I will try and keep in touch better but I always seem to have something that has more call on my time to see to first. ###

Just to say that we have had to close following this awful virus that is closing down the country. We do hope that everyone is taking notice of the rules and staying home. We will hopefully be open again when all this is over and life can return to normal. Very best wishes to everyone.

Terrible weather today, pouring with rain mostly, garden looks an awful mess, new drive partly done, waiting for builder to return, a lot of greenery down off the house so the new telephone line could be put up also some trees and branches, because it had to be done quickly it has all been thrown into heaps and needs to go to the bonfire. So glad we only have friends arriving this week who will understand (I hope) and not guests expecting how it should look. If it dries up a bit I might take a photo so we can have a before and after.

Really pleased with Lola, we actually call her Lulu which suits her better but sounds the same to her, we have had a houseful of guests including two dogs and she has on the whole really behaved herself and made friends and accepted everyone, especially if they played throw the frisby! Becky and Lulu have had a few spats but only after toys, just like children they both get scolded as both are as bad as one another when it comes to toys and they have to learn to play together, situation in progress but certainly improving and not really a problem. All lambs now born and skipping about the field.

"Hi Mum I've got a present for you" Lola our lively friend of two weeks. She has found the kitchen sofa as well as the pond in the field, good job the sofa can be washed! She is delightful and full of beans. She can be stubborn when she feels like it but ignoring her seems to bring her round.
