We love to kick back and relax in our beautiful and cozy living room after a long day enjoying the adventures of North Devon. Whether it’s walking, surfing, shopping or eating out it’s lovely to relax and recharge at Goodleigh Cottage.

And with Spring fast approaching the stunning views and sounds of lambs in the field make it even more enjoyable!

The rugged beauty and breathtaking scenery of North Devon are what makes it such a great place to spend time with family and friends.

This is the view of the Heddon Valley, a stunning walk along the banks of the river Heddon, past the Hunters Inn and onto the beach at Heddon’s Mouth.

On the way up to Lynton on the Cliff Railway you really get some fantastic views of Lynmouth!

Such a great place to visit ☺ I'd love to know where is everyone's favourite place for a cream tea there??

A great view of the whole upstairs open plan floor courtesy of the photographer from ... you should have everything you need to make wonderful memories on you Devon holiday here at Goodleigh Cottage.

Although our cottage is firmly in North Devon, we are really very close to beautiful Exmoor National Park. We took a lovely drive out to Lynton and on to Porlock and the scenery was breathtaking!!

All of Lucy's wonderful pictures over at definitely inspired the trip, I was waiting for a big ol deer to jump out across the our path 😀

The amazing church bell ringers were having a practice night in the village so we took a stroll down the lane to listen.. such a unique sound!!

And a picture of the church surrounded by moon light just looks incredible 🌙

Dog walks whatever the weather... but made better when you have lovely Coombe Woods on the dootstep. I'm looking forward to spotting some of the Roe Deer that roam this area too!
