We’re incredibly proud to share that The Old Lyric Hall was shortlisted for two major industry awards over the last month - The Shortyz and The Serviced Apartment Awards - competing alongside some of the most respected accommodation providers in the industry.
For the Serviced Apartment Awards alone, the shortlist included properties in destinations such as London, Lausanne, Porto and Edinburgh, with the eventual winner being based in Kensington, London. At the Shortyz Awards, the winning property in our category was based in Marbella.
To see a property from Barrow-in-Furness recognised alongside operators from some of Europe’s biggest and most internationally recognised destinations is something we’re immensely proud of. It’s a real reflection of the standards our team has worked to create - and proof that exceptional hospitality doesn’t only belong in capital cities or global luxury hotspots.
While we didn’t take home the top prize this time, simply being shortlisted and sharing the room with some of the very best aparthotel operators in the industry was an incredible moment for our team, especially after just 14 months of operation.
