With our first booking for the 3rd February, which has taken us by surprise to be honest, we better get the finger out and get the social media fired up!
We took a walk down to the shore today, did we tell you that you have your own private beach at the end of the croft btw? Well, private insofar as the entire township knows about it, but it's a wee slice of paradise. Silver sandy beach and the endless Atlantic rolling in. Perfect for a picnic or just gazing out into the horizon lost in thought.
The picture is coming back up the shore road and yes, even in the Outer Hebrides and in winter, we get sunshine! This is the croft land, worked for centuries and for centuries more. It's an archaeological feast!
Taking the picture, all we can hear behind us is the Atlantic roaring into shore. Very therapeutic. Mana for the soul...
