In addition to all of our unique autism friendly adaptations, our guest family have requested:

A rainy and - dare we say it - chilly check in day today 💙

Not a problem at Sungate! We have thermostatically controlled underfloor heating which produces a regulating ambient heat throughout the house, plus plenty of snuggly blankets and throws, a weighted blanket, and our bay window seat and Sensory Corner to sit and watch the rain outside.

This family have brought their dog, and dogs love our underfloor heating too! 💙🐾

Sungate is welcoming, whatever the weather, and with our large smart TV, fast WiFi and popcorn maker, it’s a perfect place to enjoy a family movie night in 🍿

Sungate is an autism friendly holiday home in beautiful Bath. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom bungalow (sleeps 5) with a unique range of autism, safety, sensory friendly adaptations we couldn’t find anywhere else when going on holiday with our autistic son.

When you book a stay, we also provide a welcome guide app full of recommendations of autism, family and dog friendly places to visit in the beautiful World Heritage city of Bath so you can plan your holiday.

The Sensory Corner swing has been requested for check in today 💙

Our guest family have lots more adaptations and sensory equipment and treats to enjoy, including:

It’s a warm check in day today in beautiful Bath ☀️

To keep things cool, we’ve rolled the blackout blinds down in all the rooms and put our complimentary cakes in the fridge, ready for our guests’ arrival 💙

With luxury vinyl and stone floors throughout, Sungate is a cool sensory treat for your feet too 😊

We also have remote controlled bladeless fans, and windows with locks and restrictors, so that guests can feel both cool and safe in this weather whilst their on holiday.

Our guests can relax, knowing that Sungate is adapted to meet both their safety and sensory needs 💙

Gluten free vegan complimentary millionaire cakes for check in today 💙

At Sungate, we personalise every booking, and our guests today have special dietary requirements. We were happy to meet their needs and so we swapped our usual locally made award winning cakes for the vegan version, and our regular welcome milk in the fridge for coconut.

These little extras, together with our lavender farm handmade fragrance bags, and vegan aromatherapy Beauty of Bath hand wash and bath soak, offer our guests some locally made sensory happiness 💙
