Take a look inside room number 17. Tucked away at top of the building room 17 offers some of the best views of the city as well as functioning as one of our cosy rooms, with a darker earthy colour scheme, perfect for a relaxing getaway to Bath.

A firm favourite with our guests at breakfast time, Here is how to make the ultimate golden granola at home:

Ingredients:

Wet Mixture:

150g oil
150g brown sugar
150g maple syrup
1 tbsp cinnamon
Zest & juice of 1 lemon

Dry Mixture:

450g oats
Pumpkin seeds (as many as you like!)
Almonds (handful or two!)

Method:

1. In a saucepan, bring the oil, brown sugar, maple syrup, lemon juice, lemon zest, and cinnamon to a simmer until it turns into a smooth syrup.
2. Mix the oats, pumpkin seeds, and almonds in a large heatproof metal bowl.
3. Pour the hot wet syrup over the oat mixture and stir thoroughly until every oat is coated.
4. Spread evenly onto a baking sheet line with parchment paper.
5. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes, giving it a good stir every 10 minutes for an even golden crisp.
6. Let cool completely before storing in an airtight jar!
