Revel in the spectacle of 10 metre long carnival floats, bands, dancers and processions. Midsomer Norton is the nearest carnival to Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park. Chew Valley Lake's Recreational Trail starts about 15 minutes walk from our park entrance. The scenic, all-weather footpath and cycleway leads to picnic areas and onward to Chew Valley Dam (1 mile). Here you'll find Salt and Malt fish restaurant and take-away with amazing views to the Mendip Hills. Cross the dam following the path past the sailing club to Woodford Lodge recreation area and restaurant (1 mile).
There are many trails and cycle paths along the way, so do pick up our guide from the park utilities room and enjoy a great day out.
