Pre-order packages at The Griffin are any two bottles for £47, any four for £89 or any six for £129.

Ca’ Di Ponti Grillo and Vita Sangiovese are £24.90 per bottle, and Laroma Pinot Grigio Rosé is £26.75 per bottle.

W**e must be selected when booking, pre-ordered and paid for in advance; packages cannot be added on the day. The festive menu is £30 for two courses or £37 for three.

Kick-off is at 8:00pm on Saturday 17 October at The Rec. The Griffin is around a 10-minute walk away, making us a practical stop for food and drinks before the match or a post-match pint.

The Griffin dates from 1730 and offers characterful rooms above the pub on Monmouth Street, just off Queen Square. Each room has its own shower room, coffee machine and hairdryer, together with quality bedding, towels and bathroom accessories. Food, drinks and central Bath are all close at hand.

Book a stay at The Griffin between Sunday and Wednesday and you’ll also receive a £50 voucher to spend on food and drink during your stay. The voucher will be emailed before arrival with a unique redemption code.

The Griffin serves Sunday lunch from 12–7pm, with a vegan option and children’s roasts for ages 12 and under at £9.95. All you need to decide is who gets the last roast potato.
