Saturday morning is breakfast, frothy coffee and a selection of 'scrummy cakes'. 🍰☕Just make your way to the Froth Café horsebox on our car park and select some treats to enjoy on your lodge's veranda. Che delizioso!🥰

The lake's recreational pathway follows the lake shore to Chew Valley Dam picnic area and onward to Woodford Lodge picnic area (2.2 miles). Chew Valley Lake is an major wildlife conservation area particularly for migrating birds.
🚶🚲 👩‍🦽The Chew Recreational Path is accessible to walkers, cyclists and wheelchair users.

Brilliant news for guests, a new hourly service No.100 operates from Bristol > Bishop Sutton* > Bath City and return almost hourly Monday-Saturdays. The new service is additional to the X91 which continues to serve local villages to Bristol and the 99 local village service.
🚍Please note; the Bath No.100 service stops at Bonhill Road which is about 100yds in the Bath direction from Bishop Sutton Post Office.

🏞 15 minutes' drive from Chew Valley, Blagdon lake is Chew Lake's pretty sister nestled in the Yeo Valley.
Doesn't that ring a bell? Yes, it is home to the Yeo Valley Health Foods visitor centre you'll pass along the way.
🏞 The finest views are from Blagdon Hill, a short, though steep, walk up from Score Lane. You can see Chew Valley Lake 5 miles away.
👫 For more leisurely walks drive down to Blagdon Dam (free parking) for viewing the lake and perhaps walking footpaths on the far bank.
🥂 And for refreshments? Step along Park Lane down to The New Inn (🐶 dog friendly) and a beer garden with stunning lake views.
🚌 You can reach Blagdon on the X91 Bus
