Yesterday afternoon, the home was filled with warmth and gratitude as we came together to celebrate our wonderful volunteers with a delightful cream tea, prepared by our fabulous catering team. It was a special moment to pause and recognise the kindness, time, and dedication they so generously give to our residents and to the life of the home. The occasion was also marked by decorating a tree with fingerprints, creating a meaningful keepsake that reflected the shared spirit of togetherness and appreciation. As a small token of our thanks, we presented our volunteers with a gift to recognise the many ways they make a difference each day. Whether helping residents complete surveys, joining in with activities, or simply offering their friendly presence and support, our volunteers bring comfort, companionship, and joy, and their contribution is truly treasured by us all.
