Honeyhill Campsite

Honeyhill Camping and Activity Centre is set in 11 acres of woodland adjacent to the M20 motorway and is screened by tree belt and fence.

Honeyhill Activity and Camping Centre is run by the Boys Brigade South East Battalion to provide facilities for the Boys Brigade and other youth organisations to run camps and adventure activities. It is remote from the nearest houses and 100m from Thurnham Lane accessed via a gated driveway.

As Volunteers’ Week comes to an end, we’d like to thank our volunteers again for all they do and will continue to recognise and celebrate their contribution throughout the year.

It was great to welcome the Kent Specialist Teaching and Learning Service for Hearing Impairment Sensory Student Council to Honeyhill last Saturday. 🙌

The group spent time volunteering on site before taking part in a discussion about their place within the community, the clubs and activities they are involved in, and how organisations can be more inclusive and accessible for everyone.

To round off the day, they were rewarded with pizza and games on site 🍕🎯

They did a fantastic job — well done to everyone involved! 😄

A special shout out to all those connected to Maidstone BB & GB who helped last weekend put up the marquee — leaders, seniors, and parents alike. Your hard work made it possible. 🎪👏

🌟 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻’𝘀 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹

The South East Battalion President has issued a challenge to local companies: 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵‑𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹. The goal is to install new stainless steel work benches that will make the space safer, more durable, and far better equipped for the hundreds of young people who use it each year.

We have several 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹, and we’d be grateful for any support you can offer as we prepare the site for the new camping season starting in May.
