Snapped on my morning run 🏃 today - there’s snow now covering the hills, and this local herd of coos were in a Moniack field, just a short stroll away from our lodges.

Last week we headed out to Glen Strathfarrar for a family picnic beside the water - this is a little known, hidden gem within easy reach of our lodges (12 miles away), and is rarely on the ‘to do’ lists of our guests. But, being a favourite spot of ours, we tell our guests about the glen and it’s now often mentioned in our guest book as a great place to visit! 😊

Heading west for the day to visit with good friends - I love this view looking down Glen Docherty towards Loch Maree; one of the most iconic in the Highlands. Breathtaking, even on a soggy morning!
