A glorious weekend making memories in and around Beaumaris.

One of our favourite summertime childhood memories is strawberry picking, so thrilled to be able to experience it with with Hooton's Homegrown Farm Shop

Got to sample both morning coffee and a cheeky raspberry mojito sundowner too at The Baths, Beaumaris BBQatthebaths
Food looked amazing too so can’t wait to try that soon.

Amazing how different you can feel with a little bit of sunshine.

We headed out today to try a new circular walk from Y Felinheli and it didn’t disappoint.

A lovely, family friendly walk, perfect for little legs, with some gorgeous views along the way. Plenty of places to stop for a rest or a picnic, if the weather is nice.

It really did feel like was in the air today, and a lovely way to finish off the Easter weekend.

Headed back to Beaumaris and as the sun was shining, we decided it would be rude not to make the most of it and have a drink at . So nice to be able to sit outside and relax in the sunshine.

Unfortunately (and much to our youngest’s disgust!) this isn’t the colour we will be going for when we re-render and repaint Cobblers Cottage at the end of 2026.

Colour is still to be determined, but hoping to tie in the colour of the cottage with some of the other beautiful colour houses in the town.

We’ve taken advantage of the beautiful weather today to walk from Pentraeth, along the beach through Red Wharf Bay to Benllech.
A gorgeous walk along the coast, with a reward of coffee, milkshakes and probably the best Victoria Sponge we’ve ever tasted (it was so good, we forgot to take a photo of it!)
A return journey, stopping en route for a drink in the sunshine. Well, with weather this good, it would have been rude not to!
Lovely to see so many couples, groups and families making the most of the spring sunshine.
