Castle Court offers you everything you need, right where you need it, to be able to enjoy your stay on Anglesey. Located in the town square right in front of the castle, there are so many things to do and great places to eat, drink and shop right on your doorstep. Having worked on luxury private yachts for the last 6 years, hospitality is our passion and you're sure to have a warm welcome and a memorable stay. We always go out of our way to make sure of it!

It’s almost time for the Autumn budget…and we have a favour to ask.

If you want to back your favourite venue, help your high street and support local jobs then please sign the petition to lower the rate of VAT for hospitality to 10%.

Our pubs, restaurants, cafes, hotels, leisure venues, nightclubs and many more, are at the heart of our communities. From a day out with your kids to a night out with friends, hospitality brings people together and brings life to our cities, towns and villages.

However, in the UK, we pay one of the highest VAT rates in Europe. 20% extra in VAT for your meal out or stay away. In France, Spain and Italy, it’s 10%. In Germany? 7%.

Our message to Government is simple. Let’s stand together to say VAT at 10% is fair for hospitality.

Why? Because more venues will stay open, less people will lose connection and job opportunities (100,000 jobs have gone in the last 2 years alone) and the industry will be able to keep prices more affordable for the public.

🍺 What does it mean to us to be selected for the Good B**r Guide for the 9th consecutive year?

Being included in the Good B**r Guide is about far more than simply serving a good pint. It is recognition of the care, commitment and dedication that goes into keeping the tradition of great British pubs and proper cask ale alive.

Cask ale is part of our brewing heritage. From the brewers who carefully craft each b**r, to the cellarman who looks after every cask, and finally to the perfect pint being poured at the bar — there is a real skill, patience and passion involved at every stage.

A good cask pint doesn’t happen by accident. It takes knowledge, consistency, attention to detail and genuine pride in what you serve. Every cellar has to be cared for, every pint treated with respect, and every customer given the experience that this wonderful tradition deserves.

To be recognised in the Good B**r Guide 2027 is therefore something we’re incredibly proud of. It represents the dedication of everyone involved and, most importantly, the support of the people who come through our doors and enjoy a pint with us.

Full-time hours available
Salary negotiable depending on experience

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and confident person to join our small, independent team!

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You could be helping with:

☕ Breakfast service
🛎️ Reception
🧹 Housekeeping
🍸 Bar service
🍦 Ice cream & coffee hatch
✨ And generally helping wherever needed!

You’ll need to be:
• 18 or over
• Friendly, reliable and flexible
• Happy working independently and as part of a team
• Available for weekday, weekend, daytime & evening shifts
• Able to get to work independently (own transport essential)

Students welcome to apply if you’re available throughout the year, including school/university holidays.
