Spring has sprung here on Anglesey both in the woods at near Beaumaris and in our garden at home.The trail cam picked up red squirrels and greater spotted woodpeckers at Henllys. New gallery alert….I delivered some new work to ‘Stiwdio’ a new gallery / workshop space and Sally Fairclough’s studio in Beaumaris.
Sally asked me to make something sculptural that was different from my usual work as I have my own space in ”The Exchange” . I have really enjoyed making something completely different, I had just received my seed catalogue from and the beautiful photos of the flowers inspired me to make these flower pieces. The Troy horses were just fun and I had some vintage meccano wheels and the chairs ….. well I just have a bit of a thing for old chairs and own more than it is possible to use .
Stiwdio is a fresh new venue for all things and coupled with the artist materials on sale and the courses it plans to offer it really should be on your to do list whilst in Beaumaris

Anglesey Studios is in April,1 st to 16 th . Mary Jane and I are taking part and will be exhibiting in The Exchange Beaumaris. It’s a great event and I want to visit some of the new faces and see some old friends….. come and explore this beautiful island and it’s creative community.
