❤ Happy International Women’s Day, a time to of gender inequality in all its forms. Today is a chance to stand proud for what you have achieved and look forward to exciting times ahead.

🧡 Today I celebrate all the women that I know and love, alongside those that I don’t know at all, and those of you that simply just wish to express femininity. I want to reach out to you all, in all corners of the world

🏵🌱Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus!

Saint David is the patron saint of Wales and today is about celebrating and remembering him.

Did you know that daffodils and leeks are the national symbol of Wales?

There are many reasons as to why this is.

It is believed that leeks were put into soldiers helmets during a battle with the Saxons. This was so that you could recognise your fellow soldiers. It’s also believed that the Battle of Crécy took place in a field of leeks.

Daffodils are also used as a national symbol and has recently replaced the leeks due to them coming out in and around St David’s Day!

❤️ I am a little behind on posting these, our visitors have been so kind recently. I absolutely 💯 agree with these lovely guests, Beaumaris has something for everyone: historical places to visit, the beach, sea, crabbing at the pier, a paddling pool, restaurants, bars and lots of beautiful shops. Something for all of the family to enjoy Then in the colder months retreat back to our cosy cottage and relax in front of the log-burner.❤️

Thank you so much for our recent guests. They enjoyed our seaside cottage with their doggie.

As they point out, Hyfrydle is conveniently located on a pretty road just behind the main street in Beaumaris. It's perfect for visiting the local shops, eateries and local attractions of the town.
