Meet Sam, our Head Chef here at the Angel Inn!

Sam has worked for Moss & Co for a total of 12 years, starting as Sous chef at the Commodore and fulfilling head chef positions throughout the company since 2018. He has been back with us at the Angel since October last year!

Sam’s favourite dish on the menu? “I’m inclined to say all of them, but I’m most proud of the mushroom scallop starter or the dark chocolate crèmeux!”

Sam is currently in the process of writing our new Summer menu, so if there are any dishes you’d like to see on it, let us know in the comments! 👇🏼

As it’s Friday, we’ve got something new on the bar for you to try… Good Old Hares by Moon Gazer 🍺

A proper old fashioned pint with a bit of history behind it. This 3.4% heritage brew is inspired by the traditional “pint of two’s”.... a classic mix of mild and bitter that used to be poured in pubs years ago.
Instead of mixing it at the bar, Moon Gazer have brewed the two styles together, creating a smooth, easy-drinking pint with that nostalgic, traditional pub feel.

Available now at The Angel... perfect for a Friday pint. 🍻

✨ Meet the Team ✨

Meet Elliott, one of our front of house members here at the Angel Inn. Whilst many of you may recognise Elliott from his summers spent glass collecting & serving at the Commodore in Oulton Broad, he now brings his infectious smile and wonderful energy to the Angel, where he has just entered his 4th year with us!

If he’s not reminiscing with you about his time away at Camp America, chances are you’ll find him down the gym, playing badminton or on Uncle duties & listening to his vast variety of vinyl records!

Elliott’s go to drink is a refreshing pint of Level head and his current favourite on the menu is our Beef & red wine pie!
