Watering the sausages to keep them cool in this bank holiday heatwave! ☀️😂

Did you know pigs can get sunburnt? Especially lighter coloured or hairless breeds, like our little pigs! 🐖

By creating a mud wallow, not only will this keep them cool but it will also stop them from getting sunburnt! 💦

From humble beginnings as an honesty box in a wooden shed, to a secure container and a wide range of local produce - it’s now a real destination for stocking up on the best our area has to offer (with a snazzy techy payment system too!) 🛒

From cheese and milk, to our home reared pork and lamb, cakes, eggs, pizzas, pasta, cow-shaped biscuits, ‘dawn chorus coffee’ and everything in between, there’s everything you might need for a glamping trip in Suffolk or for your kitchen at home! 🧀 ☕️ 🍳 🥓 🥩

Perfectly equipped for our four legged friends! 🐾

Not only is all of our accommodation dog-friendly, there are also some lovely footpath walks surrounding our glamping site.

Perfect for those morning and evening walks without having to jump in the car! 🐕

International Dawn Chorus Day… the first Sunday in May.

And we missed it! 😩

Each year, thousands of people across more than 80 countries rise at first light to listen to nature’s greatest symphony. 🐦‍⬛🎶

As daylight hours increase, their hormones change and birds turn their attention to breeding, with songs gradually returning over several weeks. Experts believe that a bird’s song travels 20 times further in the early hours, when the air is still.

You can hear beautiful birdsong every morning throughout our glamping site, nestled in rural Suffolk not far from the market town of Beccles. The perfect alarm to wake up to! 🌅

We won’t be missing it next year - it’s firmly marked in our calendars! 😅
