Just wanted to give you all a little update on some of the works being carried out at Hidden Meadows last week. We are very fortunate to be able to work with Nick,Debbie, volunteers and students from Parkside school/Pathways College, doing work experience with The Broads Authority who have kindly agreed to help us improve habitat for nature and our guests! Everyone worked really hard whilst enjoying and respecting the habitat and nature and a good deal of information was shared which is always a positive thing. Work party was split into two groups first group made a start on improving the cord pathway through the wood using Alder which should last a long time. The second group made a start on replacing the wire fence in the fairy garden with a dead hedge. This will create a great habit for wildlife and is a more eco friendly way of dealing with dead wood,leaves etc plus it looks much nicer! This is just the first phase of nature enhancements that we hope to do and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on a regular basis x Ian and Lynne
