I baked an apple cake today, to welcome guests back to the B&B. As they are still out in the sunshine exploring some local gardens and market towns, I have taken 5 minutes out of my day with a cup of tea to sample the cake (still warm) and to admire the view.

Preparing to welcome guests to our holiday cottage this afternoon, we have gone with a local classic (fruit cake and Wensleydale cheese) and a family favourite (Anzac biscuits) ..... well it is the 25th April and we live in Wensleydale!

On the rare occasion that a guest falls ill, we do our best to make sure they have everything they need. This little one broke her leg whilst exploring, so we are making sure she gets lots of rest, food and water! And I am pleased to say she is doing well
