WHAT'S IN STEAM THIS WEEK?
(Saturday, 21st March – 27th March 2026)

Our 2026 season begins today and we can’t wait to start welcoming passengers back to the FFWHR!

To get things underway, here's the first look at this year's Loco Roster. We'll do our best to update this every week so you can see what locomotives will be working the week ahead.

It's a gentle start to the season on the Ffestiniog Railway, so there will just be one loco in steam for our passenger trains this week.
Double Fairlie DAVID LLOYD GEORGE will work the three 10:40 'Mountain Spirit' services on Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Two months since we finished the landscaping and everything is settling down nicely. Guests love the new Adirondack chairs and in such a great spot for a morning cuppa (that view!!🤗). The new grass bank created using turf rolls from Anglesey Turf is looking fabulous and once it’s all bedded in we’ll add a swing seat. This was a job worth doing for sure!
