We’re delighted to introduce our latest Afternoon Tea at The Great Room Restaurant, inspired by the rich flavours and finest ingredients of the season. Our talented patisserie team has created three exquisite new patisseries, featuring hazelnut with bright yuzu, apple and blackberry with delicate almond, and raspberry paired with the rich depth of Valrhona Hukambi chocolate.

Enjoy these alongside delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and preserves, and a carefully selected range of fine teas.

Berts Jazz Festival returns to The Merchant Hotel this October for seven unforgettable nights of live music, incredible food, cocktails and the very best of jazz!

This year’s incredible line-up will transport you to a different corner of the jazz world each night, with live music inspired by a different country. And when the weekend arrives, step back into the roaring ’20s for two spectacular nights celebrating the Golden Age of Jazz.
