Beautiful winter weather at Cushendun beach earlier this week. The Antrim coast road is an easy day trip from our place. If you’re booking a stay with us, stay a few days longer and really take time to discover what Northern Ireland has to offer, you won’t be disappointed🥰

Doesn't winter seem to be dragging this year? Easter seems like it's 100 weeks away. Why not book a short break to Belfast so you've something to look forward to? We still have availability left mid-week in March and just one weekend that month left 25th-27th. Hope to see you soon!

I've just finished binge-watching Downton Abbey on Netflix, it really is a great series isn't it? Have you been to Northern Ireland's own Downton Abbey aka Mount Stewart? Can you imagine cleaning all that silver?? Mount Stewart is a great place to visit for a day out, incredible history of the family who lived there, the artefacts in the house and of course the incredible gardens which have won many international accolades. Just a 30 minute drive from our holiday let.

Game of Thrones Fan? February has welcomed the opening of the new Linen Mill Studios in Banbridge. The studios give a behind the scenes look at how the series was made, and include props, costumes, sets from the show and an insight into the special effects used. In Belfast you will find the Glass of Thrones trail, a series of 6 stained glass windows depicting scenes from the show. This one is at SS Nomadic and is the White Walker themed window. Why not book a short break with us and come and explore the world of the Seven Kingdoms for yourselves!

Some of the things I like best about living in Northern Ireland are that you are never far from the coast, and that the country is small and easily accessible to travel from place to place. Our holiday let makes a great base for travelling around and seeing other places around the country. This is the beach at Portrush, just 1 hour's drive from us. The beach is a 2-mile stretch of beautiful golden sand and makes for a lovely relaxing walk.

Great to see 2 road trips in Northern Ireland make it into the top 10 most romantic road trips in the UK - the Antrim Coast Road and the Dark Hedges. I never get tired of driving the Antrim Coast Road, it really is spectacular. Have you been yet?
