A Life changing experience.....
We have had an amazing journey over the last year.. Our lives have completely changed ,thankfully for the better. My vocation throughout my life has been nursing ,caring for others. I have worked as a practise nurse for 24 yrs but 42years nursing in total.Visiting Belford with my children was a regular weekend and holiday place for us. We soon grew to love this village the people and the beautiful surroundings. Five minutes from the beach and spectacular coastline,steeped in history and close to the rolling countryside There is always something to please everyone ,I of course love the many craft shops, cafes and particularly antiques shops. I have been able to collect many lovely pieces of furniture and items for our 17thcentury house. I was thrilled to see the original well in the cellar which has been a particular attraction for children visiting and many wishes have been made. Being a landlady may be far from my original vocation but caring for people in any way is something I enjoy and realise I am good at....... Chris has amazed me thoughout this journey he,s been brilliant, helping guests with what's going on locally ,how to get to all the local attractions,giving them lifts and always going the extra mile to ensure guests are happy and have a memorable break or holiday.
Today I was awarded a five star level for health and safety standard and I was so pleased We both work hard to make sure the house is immaculately clean.
