They promised us a good display of Northern Lights tonight and they didn’t disappoint! Almost as spectacular as the amazing one in May - shots taken North, East and West (from the campsite). One is taken from Glasgow West End by my daughter - to see it above the city lights shows how good it is. Second time we’ve been able to see something by eye and not just through camera. These are taken on a phone camera. Campers should be excited tonight - amazing!
Goodnight folks!

After getting an aurora notification on Sat, David went onto the site and took this - one of the best we’ve caught. Was about 8pm on Sat with an almost full moon. Could just about see something happening by eye, but full glory only visible through camera. Apparently we are going into a busy period for auroras - so maybe we’ll get better shots.
