Shottle Hall itself is an idyllic English country house with stunnin

g views over the Derbyshire countryside and 8 individually designed bedrooms. The Orangery restaurant can cater for approximately 80 guests for the wedding breakfast and 150 for an evening celebration. The Coach House Marquee blends a traditional stone built Victorian coach house with a state of the art luxury marquee. It has its own stylish bar and lounge area and a decked patio leading to the romantic outside ceremony pavilion. The marquee can accommodate approximately 150 guests for the wedding breakfast and 250 for an evening celebration. Both Venues are fully licensed for civil ceremonies and have picturesque views over the Ecclesbourne Valley. Flexible dining & entertainment options are available to suit your individual needs.

“The only venue you will need to view”⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“What a venue Shottle Hall is… it was the first and the ONLY venue we viewed, after seeing it we couldn’t possibly imagine getting married elsewhere.
Everything was straightforward and nothing at all was too much hassle. Sharon initially completed our first show around and what a wonderful woman she is! Super friendly and helpful and we could’ve stayed there all day chatting away. Sharon also gave us our second show around for when we finalised our booked, and after hiring my maid of honour to work at Shottle Hall, she got us drinks and we celebrated with a glass of bubbly knowing our date was coming!

From that moment on, Helen our wedding coordinator made everything possible, she had so much patience with us after we were the slowest couple ever at replying to emails but she was also right on it with anything we needed doing and we truly believe our day would not have gone as well as it did without Helen on that day.

Thank you to the entire team at Shottle Hall for giving us a day to remember for the rest of our lives ♥️”

“We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. From the moment we first visited in 2024 we knew it was the wedding venue for us. The venue itself is stunning, and the scenery made the most beautiful backdrop for our wedding photos.

We would like to say a huge thank you to our wedding coordinator Niamh who was amazing from start to finish and would always response to my many emails pretty instantly! She made everything run so smoothly on the day and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

Thank you to everyone else at the venue for helping create the most unforgettable day.

I honestly feel so lucky. ❤️

Lately, I’ve had a run of weddings with some absolutely brilliant couples, and yesterday at Shottle Hall was another one to add to the list.

From the moment I arrived, it just felt easy. Two people who are completely themselves, up for a laugh, keeping it real, and surrounded by family and friends who brought exactly the same energy. It made the whole day feel relaxed, effortless and so much fun to be part of.

I did have one tiny moment of panic though… 😂

Around 15 minutes before Daniel was due to see the registrar, he still wasn’t in his suit! Instead, he was running around making sure every last detail was perfect. Apparently that’s just who he is. Somehow, he pulled it all together, everything looked incredible, and he even made it to the registrar on time. I still don’t quite know how! 🤭

Then there was Monty, the four-legged ring bearer, who absolutely stole a few hearts and did a brilliant job. 🐶💍

These two laughed together, cried together, and had everyone hanging on their stories throughout the day. They were just so much fun to be around.

Honestly, don’t ever change. You had me smiling all day, and seeing your reactions to your sneak peeks was the icing on the cake. I’m so happy you loved them.

I hope you enjoy every single moment while you’re off making even more memories on honeymoon.

✨ 20 Years of Love Stories at Shottle Hall ✨

As we count down to our 20th Anniversary Celebration, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the incredible couples who have made Shottle Hall so special over the last two decades. 🤍

These beautiful images are from our recent anniversary photoshoot, where some of our amazing former brides returned to walk our grounds once again and share their favourite memories and words of advice for future couples. Seeing so many familiar faces back at Shottle Hall was truly magical.
