😍 Because a good holiday starts with a GOOD night’s sleep! 💤🌊

We’ve just upgraded the main bedroom with a brand-new 40cm deep memory foam mattress… 😍

When we took over the caravan, one of the first things we noticed was that the existing mattress was poking into my back & for someone with back/spinal issues it needed changing 🙈 and if we wouldn’t want to sleep on it ourselves, we certainly weren’t expecting our guests to!

So out it came 👋🏼

Comfy beds, cosy touches and all the little extras that make being away from home feel that bit nicer. ♥️

And with our VERY FIRST guests staying with us now, we couldn’t be more excited! 🥹🏡🌊

Here’s to comfy sleeps, lazy holiday mornings and waking up ready for another day on the Isle of Wight. 🥰

Our little Paws & Shores transformation… 🥹♥️🌊🐾

Okayyyy, seeing the before & afters next to each other has made me realise just how much we’ve actually done in a few days 😂🫣

When we first walked into the caravan, we could instantly picture our family here. We could see the potential and knew that with a few changes and our own little touches, we could make it feel completely us. 🤎

And that is basically what we’ve spent the last few days doing!

New curtains, new poles, fresh bedding, throws, cushions, lots of organising, an UNHOLY amount of cleaning 😂 and all the little finishing touches that somehow make the biggest difference.

We haven’t wanted to completely change her because she was already a lovely family holiday home. We’ve just given everything a little freshen up and started putting our own Paws & Shores stamp on it. 🥹

And I LOVE HER. 😭♥️

She’s not the newest, fanciest or most modern caravan at Whitecliff Bay... and I’m absolutely okay with that.

What I wanted was somewhere that felt cosy, clean, comfortable and like a proper home from home.

Somewhere you don’t have to panic because the kids have climbed onto the sofa.

Somewhere the dogs are actually welcome rather than just tolerated. 🐾😂

Somewhere you can come back with sandy feet after a day at the beach, chuck your comfies on, make a cuppa and properly switch off.

Because those are the holidays we love too. ♥️

There are still little bits we want to do over time (and we’re STILL waiting for our outdoor furniture to make its grand appearance 🙃😂), but for our first few days here…

We've had just a little makeover 😍👀💪🏼

A few things still we need to do & I'm very disappointed our garden sofa didn't arrive and will still be a few weeks... but it will be worth it!

A lovely few hours on Yaverland beach yesterday with the dogs 🐶

It was our puppy Beau's first time at the beach and she LOVED it 🐠 This beach as well as our private beach on site allows dogs all year round.

You don't have to have a dog to stay with us... we just wanted to create a space to allow them to have a holiday too 🐶
