We’re heading to Adgestone Campsite with Isle of Wight Dubbers for a Halloween weekend, and we’d LOVE to see some of our lovely Forelands campers there too!

🍔 Saturday evening — our friends at Vivid Catering are coming onsite especially for us! Forelands regulars will know you’re in for a treat! 😋

⛺ We’ll also have our big 12ft × 24ft army tent, giving everyone a warm, dry space to sit together and have a natter — including somewhere to keep warm in your fancy dress! Dressing up is completely optional, but definitely encouraged! 🤣🧙‍♀️

❤️🌈 HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY, SALLY 🌈❤️

Today we want to wish a very special lady a happy heavenly birthday — Sally. ❤️

Forelands Pop-Up Campsite simply wouldn’t exist without her.

It was Sally who trusted us with her field and gave us the opportunity to create what has now become Forelands. What started with her saying yes has grown into something incredibly special — a place where friendships have been made, families return year after year, dogs run around the field, children make memories and complete strangers arrive as campers and often leave as friends. ❤️

We just hope she’d be looking down and feeling proud of what her field has become.

Sally may no longer be here to see it, but she will ALWAYS be part of Forelands and its story. We’ll never forget that none of this would have happened without her. ❤️

Happy heavenly birthday, Sally.

❤️🏕️ TWO WEEKS AGO TODAY… 🏕️❤️

Two weeks ago today, we closed the gates on the 2026 season at Forelands Pop-Up Campsite… and what a summer it was! 🥹

When we opened those gates back in July, we honestly had no idea quite what the next couple of months would bring.

What we got was an absolutely INCREDIBLE summer. ❤️

Thousands of laughs, new friendships, old friends returning, dogs everywhere 😂🐶, music, food, kids running around making memories, learning to ride bikes, electric scooters, some completely bonkers weekends… and a campsite that genuinely started to feel like one big family.

And somehow, amongst all of that, Forelands has made it into the TOP THREE finalists for BEST CAMPSITE in the Red Funnel Isle of Wight Awards 2026! 😭🏆❤️

We still can't quite believe that one!

Whether we come home with Gold, Silver or Bronze on awards night honestly doesn't matter to us. To have our little summer pop-up campsite recognised alongside some of the Island's best established campsites is something we're ridiculously proud of.

And that's because of YOU LOT. ❤️

To every single person who camped with us this summer — whether you stayed for one night, came back weekend after weekend, or practically moved in 😂 — THANK YOU.

Thank you for supporting us, recommending us, sharing our posts, leaving lovely comments and reviews, voting for us and, most importantly, making Forelands what it is.

A MASSIVE thank you to our brilliant friends Jason, Laura and Rosie at Vivid Catering, who kept everyone extremely well fed throughout the summer! 🍔🍟❤️ You became such a huge part of Forelands and we absolutely loved having you with us.

And another HUGE thank you to Emma and John from The Beach Hut Bar and Seafood Kitchen, Bembridge, who joined us throughout the summer serving their absolutely gorgeous pizzas! 🍕❤️ We're so grateful for your support and for being part of our Forelands family.

And of course, there are a couple of people who dealt with the slightly less glamorous side of running a campsite… 😂

A huge thank you to Ramona and Jonny from ACE WASTE for keeping on top of our bins and taking away the mountain of rubbish you lot managed to produce! 😂🗑️❤️

And a massive thank you to AMP Hire Ltd for looking after our toilets throughout the season. 🚽👏 Not necessarily the most glamorous job in the world, but definitely one of the most important when you've got a field full of campers! 😂

Thank you to all the other traders, entertainers and musicians who came along and helped make our events and weekends so special.

And we absolutely have to say a massive THANK YOU to the residents of Bembridge. ❤️

Opening a campsite in the middle of a village for the summer could very easily have been met with a few raised eyebrows 😂, but the support we've received over the last three years from the local community has been amazing.

Thank you for welcoming us, supporting us, recommending us and putting up with the extra campervans, motorhomes and cars rolling through the village all summer! 🚐😂

We genuinely appreciate it more than you probably realise. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who supported our charity fundraising, joined in with our madness and helped create the atmosphere that made Forelands… well, Forelands. 😂❤️

And a huge thank you to everyone behind the scenes who mucked in, helped us when things got hectic and supported Mickey and me throughout the season. We genuinely couldn't have done it without you.

Most importantly, we'll never forget that none of this would have happened without Sally, who originally gave us the opportunity to use the field and trusted us with our slightly mad idea. ❤️ We hope she'd be proud of what that field becomes every summer.

And an equally huge thank you to Manna, Sally's sister, who now runs Sally's Riding School and the rest of the Thomas family who allowed us to continue Forelands again ❤️ It means more to us than we can say that you've trusted us to carry on something that Sally gave us the opportunity to start.

Forelands simply wouldn't exist without either of you. ❤️

We’re heading to Mill Meadows Camping for a whole weekend dedicated to our Little Dubbers — and we may have gone just a tiny bit overboard with the entertainment! 🤣🤣

We’ll be showing children’s movies, with plenty of popcorn of course! 🍿🎬

🔥🍫 AND IN THE EVENING… S’MORES!

We’ll be getting together around the fire pit for s’mores — because no proper camping weekend is complete without getting melted marshmallow absolutely EVERYWHERE! 🤣🔥

🍔🍟 VIVID CATERING — SATURDAY EVENING! 🍟🍔

Our very good friends at Vivid Catering will also be joining us on Saturday evening, keeping both the Little Dubbers AND the Big Dubbers fed! 😋❤️

💅✨ AND SOMETHING FOR THE GROWN-UPS TOO! ✨💅

The Green Cabin Beauty Salon will also be OPEN ON SITE over the weekend! 🤩

So while the Little Dubbers are busy having the time of their lives, if any of the adults fancy treating themselves to a little bit of pampering, you can! 🥰💅✨

Who said a kids’ campout had to be entirely about the kids?! 🤣🤣

💷 CAMPING IS JUST £15 PER PITCH, PER NIGHT!

🐶 DOGS ARE VERY WELCOME! ❤️

Our four-legged Dubbers can come along too, but dogs MUST be kept on leads or tethered at all times while on site.

Well… we’ve closed the gates at Forelands Pop-Up Campsite for the summer, and apparently we’re already suffering from campsite withdrawal! 🤣🏕️

So this Halloween, Mickey and I are doing something truly shocking…

😱 WE’RE CAMPING AT ANOTHER CAMPSITE!!! 😱

Yep. We’re defecting. We’re crossing enemy lines. We’re going to the DARK SIDE… 🤣🤣

I genuinely cannot believe I’m writing this… 😭❤️

FORELANDS POP-UP CAMPSITE HAS MADE IT INTO THE TOP 3 FINALISTS IN THE RED FUNNEL ISLE OF WIGHT AWARDS 2026!!! 🏕️🏆🎉

WE’RE GOING TO THE AWARDS!!!! 🥂🤣

Honestly, we are absolutely BLOODY SPEECHLESS!!

Three years ago, Forelands started as an idea in a field after the wonderful Sally gave us permission to give it a go… and look at it now. 🥹❤️

This summer has been completely bonkers. We’ve laughed, cried, battled wind and rain, nearly lost event shelters 😂, hosted live music, Sunday Funday, campouts, made friends for life and watched our little campsite turn into something so much bigger than just somewhere to pitch a tent.

It became a family. ❤️🏕️

And now… FORELANDS IS ONE OF THE TOP THREE!!! 😭🏆

To EVERY SINGLE PERSON who voted for us — THANK YOU. ❤️

To everyone who camped with us, recommended us, shared our posts, came to our events, supported our traders, helped us when things went t**s up 🤣 and became part of the Forelands family… THIS IS YOURS TOO!

And Sally… we really hope you’d be looking down at that field with the biggest smile. ❤️ We wouldn't have Forelands without you giving us the chance in the first place.

Whatever happens at the awards, we've already achieved something we never dreamed possible.
