Due to last minute cancellation, sadly down to illness and hospital visits, Tan Bryn, our little cottage is available this Saturday 10th October for one week. It has been paid for (£409.99) with no refund available so if you are interested in a last minute break please make a sensible offer and I will give the money to the people who can’t come. The cottage is dog friendly, has an enclosed dog friendly garden and comes with hamper and all bedding and towels etc included. It has a lounge/ small dining and kitchen area, separate bedroom with double bed and shower room. Only five minutes by car from Benllech beach in a rural setting and part of our smallholding with donkeys, ponies, pet sheep, geese, hens and ducks, just perfect if you are an animal lover. Birthday ready for our next guests, David and Karen, returning for the fourth time in Tan Goeden. Croeso yn ol! Homemade birthday cake and autumnal contonneaster.

New guests arriving later tonight for a weekend in Tan Goeden, our little shepherd’s hut. A small nod to Autumn with home grown mini pumpkins, plus an orchid instead of garden flowers and new hanging baskets, and the very last of the sweet peas. Good to see some flowers are still doing well despite us being well into Autumn.

A walk down memory lane at Rhosneigr beach to celebrate my mum and dad’s wedding anniversary yesterday. 64 years of marriage it would have been. Rhosneigr was our favourite beach when I was growing up. It was where I paddled my rubber dinghy and learnt to ride and where my dad kept his boat. Happy days! Finished the afternoon with a lovely meal at The Oyster Catcher.
