We are officially back at Haggerston Castle for the 𝗢𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱, and it feels great to be home! 🥂

While we are taking some time to enjoy the owners' festivities, we are also busy behind the scenes. We’ll be spending this weekend and next getting everything perfectly ready to start welcoming you all back very soon. 🛠️✨

All sorted, ready for today's guests arriving - we hope you enjoy the sofa and the fresh new carpet smell 👌

After a hard days graft, the new carpet is down and the sofa is in! So much more comfortable and homely.

Hopefully we get a nice sunny morning tomorrow so we can get some better photographs for the page but for now.. this'll have to do!

The final block of the summer holidays is now taken which means in only our second season, we've completely sold out the school holidays! 😁 Thank you all so much for booking and we hope these changes we've made make your future stays even more comfortable!

Big changes coming at McKell Lodge ... currently replacing the worn out original carpet and (let's be honest) rock hard sofa 👀 keep your eyes peeled later today for updates and the finished project!!

Haven still haven't fixed the park light behind our decking (we've been pushing them for over a year to fix it...) so we've installed this superb solar powered light to illuminate our decking.

We think it's such a big improvement, don't you?

Who wants to do dishes on holiday? Certainly not my missus 😂 so she's picked up this little counter top dishwasher for our guests (and herself) so you can spend more time having fun at Haggerston Castle and less time with suds on your hands 👌
